An unsatisfied customer simply becomes a person or organisation that the company dealt with 'before'; before they became unsatisfied. The brief for our QA team is to ensure that the customer remains satisfied.

Interaction, openness and trust are tenets that our QA department very much rely on. In our dynamically changing world, where the innovations of today are already halfway to becoming yesterdays ideas, heavy and inflexible companies are destined to disappear. We believe in giving our customers what they want; what they need to perform and compete in their market.

With this in mind our approach to Quality Assurance is always proactive.

Our suppliers, the key to our success, are chosen carefully. Maintaining a regular dialogue directly with their QA departments is a key feature of this relationship. As part of our overseas audit programme, we assist our suppliers in the development of their systems and procedures, working with them in a co-operative rather than confrontational way.

Good Manufacturing Practices are key to our business. HACCP systems are widely in use amongst our existing suppliers. Where they are not we are working with these companies in the development of their HACCP systems. We have full HACCP for all third party UK storage and distribution.

Our commitment to attaining the highest possible quality standards is exemplified in our achievement of a grade A BRC certification. This gives all of our customers confidence that we endeavour to achieve perfection in everything we do.

All imports are fully documented. Laboratory analysis for sensitive items that require So2 or Aflatoxin certificates is available for every lot. Our organic trade is fully documented. We are registered with Organic Farmers & Growers
